Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
The next movie right after Batman: Under the Red Hood is Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. Here's a piece of news I found on screenrant:
And here is the official movie trailer from dcumoviepage:
In my opinion it looks good. I can't wait for it. :3

The DC Universe animated feature Superman/Batman: Apocalypse will be out on DVD/Blu-ray this fall and features the voice talents of Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly, and actress Summer Glau.
The two titans of the DC Comics Universe – Batman and Superman – will make their next appearance together on the small screen in the DC Universe animated feature Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, which will be out on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand at the end of September.
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse will be the ninth entry in the DC Universe Animated series of PG-13 features, and will be the second entry based off the Superman/Batman comic book series that was authored by new Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb back in 2003. It is being produced by superhero animation legend Bruce Timm and directed by Lauren Montgomery (who helmed the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths and Wonder Woman animated features)
Like its predecessor – last year’s Superman/Batman: Public Enemies – this new entry will feature Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly as the voices of Batman and Superman, respectively. Both voice actors also lent their vocal talents to the characters’ animated TV shows back in the 90s to fan acclaim.
Joining the voice cast of Apocalypse will be actress Summer Glau, who has a strong sci-fi/geek following due to her turns in the cult TV shows Firefly and The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She will voice Supergirl, a.k.a. Superman’s cousin Kara, another survivor from the planet Krypton who eventually chooses to become a defender of humanity.
Here is the official synopsis for Superman/Batman: Apocalypse:
"After a spaceship splashes down in Gotham City Harbor, Batman and Superman encounter a mysterious Kryptonian with powers as great as those of the Man of Steel. The Kryptonian is soon revealed to be Kara, cousin of Superman, who takes her under his wing to educate her about the ways of Earth.
However, the villainous Darkseid has other plans. Seeing an opportunity to finally defeat Superman, Darkseid abducts and gains control of Kara, utilizing the powerful Kryptonian to do his bidding. It’s up to Batman and Superman to save Kara, but they’ll have to take the fight to Darkseid within his hostile world – where unknown, deadly threats lurk around every corner, including a brainwashed Kryptonian able to match Superman blow-for-blow."

Holy crud! This looks awesome! Can't wait for it. Especially with Conroy in it. Not the best Batman voice, but an awesome one nonetheless.

Around one or two months. I'm more confident with one, though. It's stupid how JL CO2E isn't here yet. What the hell is their problem?
Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
DC direct does US and the UK just fine but when it comes to any other country...forget it

O_O... Actually.
When did Red Hood come out in the US again? Yeah, I just found it today. o_o But in VCD instead of DVD. I was like "WTF? Here ALREADY?" Not that I don't like it - I mean it's hella awesome, seriously - but it really made me ask:
If Red Hood can get here in like, what, less than a month, then what the hell is their problem with JL CO2E?
Maybe they didn't send those to Indonesia on purpose...? But why? Are there issues with regulations (I doubt that - things are okay with WW, GL, and Red Hood)? Or what? >.< Well for sure there are issues. But what? And most importantly WHY?

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Got it. Along with an album of Tintin AND salmon sushi for dinner. Although it's still in VCD. I wanted to wait for the DVD, but since it's 4-5 times more expensive, still out in like two weeks and I couldn't wait, I decided, "What the hell, I want it NOW." :3
Question, other than the preview for the Apocalypse movie, what other special features are there? I know they had Spectre on JL CO2E, what about this one?

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Well your not missing much. You get behind the scenes looks at Batman Gotham Knight, Superman Doomsday and the New Frontier but those are included in like every other dc dtv release. The Dc showcase short, Jonah Hex which, IMO was not as good as the spectre. If you bought the two disc addition then you also get two episodes of BTAS and a feature exploring the history of Dick Grayson.

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Ah, I want to see DC Showcase. I'm waiting for the Green Arrow one in Apocalypse. :3 Hope I can get that. I suppose they won't be too big to download from youtube since it's only ten minutes or so, right?
Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Well I think I heard that Green Arrows going to be 22 minutes but that may be Superman and Captain Marvel.

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Yeah, the 22 mins thing was Superman/Capt Marvel...
So anyways, about this JL CO2E thing, I did a research. (I always do XP). And what I found out is that the profit of that movie, compared to all the others, is below the average. It only hit 4 million dollars, while the second lowest was GL and WW with approximately 5 million dollars of profit each. The decision on distribution and shipping in a market depends on their profit, and the number they got on CO2E was below their expectation. Therefore their shipping reach are limited, and farther regions most likely do not get those, such as Indonesia. Seems like GL and WW made it through, though it was a close call - I wouldn't have watched it if their profit were a million dollars less. And there you have it, Rianna's economics theory on CO2E. *bows*

I was just looking into the showcase collection. There is an excellent lineup on it, so it's virtually impossible for me NOT to pick it up.
A part of me wishes that the Superman/Captain Marvel teamup were a feature length film, but I am more than content with this.

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
I'm not that much into Captain Marvel, so I'm not quite sure. XP But y'know. Let's see. Maybe with Superman in it it'll give me a whole new impression...
Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
I wonder what Wonder Woman's role in there... I mean it's clearly a Superman/Batman movie but of course that doesn't mean there can't be any other hero but still... XD
Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Without spoiling to much, Wonder Woman acts like more of a mentor to Supergirl. And it seemed more like a superman movie than a superman/batman movie.

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
I agree. Public Enemies also seemed more like a Superman movie, since it was all Luthor, and now Apocalypse is all Kara. Unless it has something like Joker or Catwoman or stuff I don't think Bats' a main character.
Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Well, this seemed more like a four part justice league episode.

Re: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
True. But we shouldn't judge it based on previews. Let's wait and see how it turns out - because honestly it's quite intriguing for me. XP
